The Yale 60mm blasslux autodeadlocking nightlatch is a high security lock, suitable for inward opening, right and left handed doors of a 32-57mm thickness. A 5 pin cylinder with a smart polished brass finish is included, providing key only access from the outside.
The autodeadlocking feature ensures the latch cannot be pushed back by a slide attack. A keyhole in the inside handle allows the handle to be deadlocked with a key while, and before, the door is closed. This ensures the lock can only be opened with a key, making the lock ideal for glass panel doors. The latch can be held back using the snib button or locked open by turning the key in the handle.
